FLU CLINICS 2011
The first flu clinic invitation letters for 2011 are going out now. We have received our first delivery of our vaccine, but the delivery of vaccine for the under 9’s has been delayed until mid October.
The first 1000 letters are going to patients who are over 75 years old. The next 1000 letters will go to those who are approximately 67 -74 with the remaining patients in the 'at risk' groups and those over 65 who have not already had letters following that. Separate letters will also go shortly to parents of eligible children under 9 years and patients who are immuno suppressed. The clinics for the last 2 categories will be by booked appointment.
The usual mass clinic dates are:
Saturday 8th October, Congresbury, 9am – 1.15pm
Saturday 15th October, Yatton, 9am – 1.15pm
Saturday 5th November, Congresbury, 9am – 1.15pm
Wednesday 9th November, Congresbury, 2.30pm – 6pm
Saturday 12 November, Yatton, 9am – 1.15pm
We ask patients to come to the clinic that they are invited to if at all possible to try to minimise the possibility of clinics being overwhelmed. We also ask patients to come at the time they are invited for (depends on their surname) again to try to minimise queuing.
