Parish Council Meetings

The Parish Council Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7 30pm in the village hall.  Any changes will be notified.  Members of the public are welcome to attend for all or part of the meeting.  Generally the meeting can last for anything up to 2 hours; depending on the business that needs to be discussed.

Harvest Home

The Harvest Home is an important event in the life of the community.  The event is essentially in two parts; daytime has a horse show and local entertaiment stalls while inside the Marquee a local produce meal is served to upwards of 600 people hosted by the Harvest Home Committee and selected guest speakers.  The evening event is a party with professional acts providing entertainment; past years have seen "Killer Queen" and the Wursels headlining.  This is a great event which traditionally takes place on the first Saturday of August.  Further details on this event will be posted here.
